CRITICAL ANALYSIS: FOLLOW THE WORKSHEET GUIDELINES. YOU MUST WRITE THE CRITICAL ANALYSIS IN PARAGRAPH FORM. ANSWER TWO QUESTIONS IN EACH AREA.
The title of this artwork is ignorance=fear. It was used in the Brooklyn museum. This artwork is done by none other than Keith haring, and it was made in 1989. The colors he used are orange, white, blue, red, and black. He uses warm colors and cool colors that are primary and secondary. The matter for this painting is about uplifting those people and himself who have AIDS illness to face their own significance on this illness, whether or not they are negative or positive. The artwork is balanced and asymmetrical. There are lines around the shapes of people to create motion. In the artwork there are two people who are covering their mouth and the one in the middle is covering his ears. The mood that this artwork expresses to me is confident and encouraging. I discovered that people shouldn’t be ashamed if they have aids and they should take a stand. I like this artwork and it is important because it encourages others and creates awareness for a very common illness that some people are ashamed of having called aids.
